God the Father Does It All

Times were rough.  It wasn’t the best of times; it was just the worst of times.  You’re not at home.  In fact your home is gone, burned to the ground.  In fact the whole country was destroyed and taken captive to Babylon.  The worst part about all of this is that you know why it’s happening.  It’s completely your fault.  Not only did you have hundreds of years of prophets from God to give warnings, you saw your brothers to the north get wiped off the face of the earth.  The nation of Israel was no more; now it was Judah’s turn.  Does your Heavenly Father care?  The chances are great that you personally won’t be going home.  Seventy years is a long time.  Just because God’s people were faithless, that doesn’t mean God the Father was.  No God the Father still does it all today.  He lowers the lofty.  He raises the repentant.  Watch and see how through the prophet Ezekiel.
