Tree Trimming

Date: November, 26, 2022
Time: 10:00 AM

Then Martin Luther put candles on the tree, saying, “The candles remind us of the star that led Wise Men to the Christ child.” That was probably the first decorated tree.  We continue the tradition of tree trimmings, not with candles or even candy, but with chrismons.  There are lights to reminds us of the light of the world.  There are candles too, but you’ll find those in the Advent wreath and on the altar.

Do you enjoy decorating?  The depth of meaning in our preparations for Christmas is deep.  The work can be daunting for one or two people.  YOU are invited to help decorate the front of church for the Christmas season.  The party will start at 10 AM on Saturday, November 26.  Please reach out to Elise Gmuca with your questions.
