The Taco Night turn out was strong from the community! We were able to meet three new families who had considered coming in the past, but finally were able to make the visit a reality.

The forecast was for showers, but after a wet morning the sun came out and there was beautiful weather. The kids were able to learn about the Easter story through books, crafts, and snacks! The games and egg hunt were great fun too! Happy Easter!
The pews are getting a new look. It’s exciting to see the work start after a few delays in material. The project will be completed in under two weeks. We praise God for allowing us to move forward! These first pictures are after one day of work… Here is a look later in the […]
There were 13 people attending this year’s Valentine’s Parents Night Out. Thank you to all the volunteers who made the night a success. The couples dropping off children were provided with The Five Love Languages Profile.
Thanks for a great event! There was chili for all. Everyone found one that fit their taste buds to a T.
It’s been a great year for the Ladies Bible Study. They had one more gathering in person before the year ended. We praise God for the fellowship they enjoy as a small group. And the Saran Wrap party game was a hit!
Thank you to all who participated in the Christmas Cookie give away! It was a great success. We pray that God opens the door of hearts everywhere this Christmas that they might meet the Christ child and believe.
The summer is winding down. School is about to start, why not take one night to enjoy a cookout! There were 18 people from the community who had that same thought. Families from right around the corner came to share some food and a conversation.
The dog days of summer aren’t so hot when you can cool down at a cookout with members of the community. Thank you, as always, to those who made the event a success. We were able to see new and old faces.
Thank you for a great cookout to start the summer! Many volunteers came together to make the event a success. We had some surprise guests from the community as well. There was PLENTY of food. We’ll try to grow and build on this experience for July.
Thanks to all who brought chips or a dip and helped make our 2021 Salsa Sunday a success!
Easter breakfast was a hit! We had around thirty or so members and friends. There was plenty of food to go around. He is risen indeed!
It was a great night of fun and fellowship. God has blessed our flock with some new faces over the past six months. This event gave them a chance to build relationships, something they haven’t had much opportunity to do in 2020.
The rain kept some of our guests away, but we had a great turnout with 19 people! A grand time was had by all with games, plenty of food, and even a newborn baby.
So many board games… so little time… this event has a soft spot in the congregation’s life. It’s a great time to laugh along and strategize what your next move will be. Meeting new people is the icing on the cake.
Special thanks to Carl Schneider who spent the night! The kids were great. There was a devotion offered on change in many of the ways that it impacts our lives. We praise our changeless God! He will always love us.
Thank you to all who made soups or brought sides and bowls. The event was well attended and the soups were delicious!
Thank you to all the volunteers who made the Valentine’s Parents Night Out a success! We welcomed 16 children to the event. We’re looking forward to next year.
Thank you to the volunteers who helped make yesterday’s Christmas for Kids a success! Thirty-seven people participated in the event including a number of visitors. We praise God for the opportunity to share the story of God’s plan to save the world from sin at Christmas.
It was windy by Salem Lake for our hike, but it was a gorgeous sunny day. The Lodles brought a great lunch! We had a fun walk through the woods.
Thank you to all who made the event a success! We had record crowds this year. God blessed us with some incredible weather. We went through 150 hotdogs in less than an hour. Shortly after that time we ran out of candy. We were able to make a quick trip to the store for supplies. The community came out and they even pitched in and helped us clean. It was an encouraging night. We were able to shine the light of Jesus on a dark holiday. We’ll see you next year!
One more burger before the cold winds of fall start to blow! The church picnic was a great time to enjoy a burger and make a new friend. This is the second year of holding the church picnic back on our campus. The outdoor worship in the front parking lot is a great chance for the community to see us gather as a family around God’s word.
We are so excited to meet baby Simrel that we threw a party for Sara and Garland! For many folks this was their first baby shower, but with a taco themed meal and so many friendly faces, it wasn’t hard to have a good time. Shhhhhh! Don’t say baby or you’ll lose your pin!
The rain couldn’t hold us down! Our August cookout may not have been as well attended as others, but it might have had something to do with the relentless downpour 30 minutes before the event was supposed to start. Grilling was a challenge, but all of the burgers were cooked to perfection. There were a few hearty souls who came out to enjoy some food and fellowship.
This year the event was stream-lined. No pianos, no large furniture, no pianos. This made for much easier set up and take down. The weather was perfect and the public came out to shop on a holiday weekend! There was also the beginning of a shift towards giving the community a space to sell their items. One family took advantage of our offer and sold almost everything they brought! We are super excited about inviting more families to our Community Rummage Sale next year.
Cinco de Mayo is a great reason to celebrate with a little party! Bring your favorite salsa, dip or chips. Enjoy the beautiful weather as we gather in the car port for fellowship, food and fun. Some of the homemade salsas were incredible.

Easter for Kids was fantastic! Some children heard the resurrection story for the first time. He lives!
Do you like to hear the dice roll across the table? Maybe you feel more comfortable with a full hand of cards. There was a game for everyone at Family Board Game Night!
