It was a great night of fun and fellowship. God has blessed our flock with some new faces over the past six months. This event gave them a chance to build relationships, something they haven’t had much opportunity to do in 2020.

The rain kept some of our guests away, but we had a great turnout with 19 people! A grand time was had by all with games, plenty of food, and even a newborn baby.
So many board games… so little time… this event has a soft spot in the congregation’s life. It’s a great time to laugh along and strategize what your next move will be. Meeting new people is the icing on the cake.
Special thanks to Carl Schneider who spent the night! The kids were great. There was a devotion offered on change in many of the ways that it impacts our lives. We praise our changeless God! He will always love us.
Thank you to all who made soups or brought sides and bowls. The event was well attended and the soups were delicious!
Thank you to all the volunteers who made the Valentine’s Parents Night Out a success! We welcomed 16 children to the event. We’re looking forward to next year.
Thank you to the volunteers who helped make yesterday’s Christmas for Kids a success! Thirty-seven people participated in the event including a number of visitors. We praise God for the opportunity to share the story of God’s plan to save the world from sin at Christmas.
It was windy by Salem Lake for our hike, but it was a gorgeous sunny day. The Lodles brought a great lunch! We had a fun walk through the woods.
Thank you to all who made the event a success! We had record crowds this year. God blessed us with some incredible weather. We went through 150 hotdogs in less than an hour. Shortly after that time we ran out of candy. We were able to make a quick trip to the store for supplies. The community came out and they even pitched in and helped us clean. It was an encouraging night. We were able to shine the light of Jesus on a dark holiday. We’ll see you next year!
One more burger before the cold winds of fall start to blow! The church picnic was a great time to enjoy a burger and make a new friend. This is the second year of holding the church picnic back on our campus. The outdoor worship in the front parking lot is a great chance for the community to see us gather as a family around God’s word.
We are so excited to meet baby Simrel that we threw a party for Sara and Garland! For many folks this was their first baby shower, but with a taco themed meal and so many friendly faces, it wasn’t hard to have a good time. Shhhhhh! Don’t say baby or you’ll lose your pin!
The rain couldn’t hold us down! Our August cookout may not have been as well attended as others, but it might have had something to do with the relentless downpour 30 minutes before the event was supposed to start. Grilling was a challenge, but all of the burgers were cooked to perfection. There were a few hearty souls who came out to enjoy some food and fellowship.
This year the event was stream-lined. No pianos, no large furniture, no pianos. This made for much easier set up and take down. The weather was perfect and the public came out to shop on a holiday weekend! There was also the beginning of a shift towards giving the community a space to sell their items. One family took advantage of our offer and sold almost everything they brought! We are super excited about inviting more families to our Community Rummage Sale next year.
Cinco de Mayo is a great reason to celebrate with a little party! Bring your favorite salsa, dip or chips. Enjoy the beautiful weather as we gather in the car port for fellowship, food and fun. Some of the homemade salsas were incredible.
Do you like tacos? Do you get hungry at the thought of queso dip? Are you a “hint-of-lime” tortilla chip person? Then we have event for you! Maybe you were like me and couldn’t decide so you tried everything!
Easter for Kids was fantastic! Some children heard the resurrection story for the first time. He lives!
Do you like to hear the dice roll across the table? Maybe you feel more comfortable with a full hand of cards. There was a game for everyone at Family Board Game Night!
Can Lutherans be Irish for a day? I think the answer is yes! You don’t need to take my word for it. Check out these pictures!
The ice was cold and it has been raining all week! But the skating was hot! I was impressed with our group. Everyone took to the ice and skated away. It was fun to lace up skates one more time!
Thank for a great evening! The kids had a chance to have some fun and learn a little about God’s love. Most importantly those parent had a chance to take a break for four hours! We look forward to offering this community service again in the future.
New faces and old friends had a chance to sit and talk over a warm bowl of chili at this years Chili Cook Off. There were so many different styles to choose from!
Smallfoot was on the big screen at our first Family Movie Night. The event was a success at 31 people from the church and community gathered for some fresh popcorn, soda, and candy. It was a great way to end a busy week and a cold month. We will look for another opportunity to offer a Family Movie Night this year.
This year the Lock In fell on a holiday weekend. That pushed a number of our teens away on trips with their families, but it was a great time for the five teens who were in town for the event.
Christmas for Kids was great! The kids loved being about to spend time with the friends! They heard about the Christmas story, created yummy treats, worked hard on their crafts, and played games. This year we were also able to offer four hours for the event. Their parents had extra time to do anything! Catch up on Christmas shopping, run an errand or take a nap!
The weather was very wet all day. The turn out for our Trunk or Treat wasn’t as strong as it could’ve been with the dry weather, but it was still alot of fun! We had great games and plenty of candy for everyone!
2018 is the first time that we held the church picnic on the church property! We had great weather and a strong turn out from the congregation. Thank you to all who help bring food and help make the event a success.
Saturday, September 8th, Jason, Ed and Pastor Fred took the kids for a hike at Hanging Rock State Park. We hit all three of the falls offered at the park. Thanks for a great day! The weather was perfect and the water from the mountain streams was cold! Lots of fun.
