January can be a cold dark month. Families have been back to the grind after the natural let down from the holidays. Star of Bethlehem Lutheran Church will offer the community a movie night on Saturday, January 29th. Stay tuned for more details. Family Movie Night is a great time to bring a friend to spend some time with our church family. There will be no charge and refreshments like candy, soda, and popcorn will be offered.
Saturday, December 11th, from 4 PM to 6 PM, we will be giving away cookies to the community. Members are invited to drop off cookies and we will also purchase cookies. The goal is to invite 50 families to our Christmas Eve Service and give away cookies with coloring books for kids. Please speak with Pastor Guldberg for more information and if you would like to drop off cookies for the event.
Due to COVID concerns, Star of Bethlehem will not be offering our Trunk or Treat this year. Have a safe Halloween!

It’s back to school month! Many movies have been set in an educational institution. Consider Harry Potter heading to Hogwarts. No one could ever imagine going to a school of magic, but everyone knows what its like to be the new kid in the class. It’s those details that draw us into to movies about schools.
