Spring is a time of new life!  Easter has special meaning for Christians because we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection from the dead.  All of us will enjoy the new life of eternal life on the Last Day.  At or Easter for Kids event all of our crafts, songs, books, games, and snacks will communicate the joy of new life.  Come and learn all that Jesus has done for you!

Can German Lutherans be Irish?  We’re going to find on Sunday, March 17th!  Join us for a green celebration as we remember St. Patrick’s work.  There will, of course, be food.  Help us save you a sub sandwich by filling out a form.  There is no cost.  Bring as many people at you like.  Maybe you can be Irish too?

A Chili Cookoff is a great way to chase away the cold chills of January.  The event is open to everyone!  There is a chance for people to vote for their favorite chili.  From mild to ghost pepper hot there is sure to be a chili for your taste buds.  Come and warm up with a hot bowl of chili!

January can be a cold dark month.  Families have been back to the grind after the natural let down from the holidays. There will be no charge and refreshments like candy, soda, and popcorn will be offered.  Family and friends are welcome. 

Every year Davie County Department of Health and Human Services gathers Christmas Sponsors for the children in care. Our church has volunteered to sponsor a 15 year old male.
