Does it ever seem difficult to believe some of the miracles described in the Bible? In our Mens Bible Study we’ll take a look at six of these examples in the Old Testament.
We’ll use Zoom to meet every Thursday morning at 7:30 AM. HERE is the link for the meeting room.
Lesson One: Parting the Red Sea
Our first example is the crossing of the Red Sea by God’s people as they left their lives of slavery in Egypt. God let them walk right out on dry land – dry land that was at the bottom of a sea.

Lesson Two: Mountain Dew
The second example takes us into the time of the judges – a time in the history of God’s people sometimes compared to the Wild West of the United Sates, when “everyone did as they saw fit.” God intervened to help his suffering people in a unique way.

Lesson Three: Hungry? Nevermore!
Our third miracle brings us to the land of Israel during a severe drought. How does God provide for his prophet? Join us as we see God rebuke his unbelieving people keep his promises of providence.

Lesson Four: The Longest Day
Have you ever needed just a few more minutes in a day? There was wisdom when our Lord limited the day to only 24 hours. That is enough time for us to work, recreate ourselves with rest and play, and time, of course, to worship him. There was one day that God agreed that the day needed to be longer. So he did just that!

Lesson Five: The Bottomless Jar
I don’t know that we have much experience with flour and oil, but what about a box of cereal? Maybe a jug of milk? Do you have enough eggs to make the brownies? All of those basic staples tend to run out at the worst times. For the prophet Elisha this was a matter of life and death.

Lesson Six: The Floating Axe Head
What’s the big deal if an axe head falls into the water? It was borrowed. I think the point is that if it’s a big deal to you, it’s a big deal to God! Take it to the Lord in prayer.
