Did you know that tacos are their own food group? It is that ubiquity that makes it the perfect outreach event! Yes, the community CAN gather around tacos. Our Taco Night falls around the festival of Cinco de Mayo. We love the opportunity to blend cultures, to expose people to new ideas and possibly new foods. Our chef always has some authentic spicy food to go with the tacos in case anyone is adventurous. As those networks of families grow, we can see the community becoming stronger. So the only real question to ask is, “What do you like on your taco?” Me? I like the cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes! All are welcome to attend.
