There are a handful of chapter in the Bible that stand out in their importance.  This summer we’ll consider a few of these Very Important Chapters in VIC.

When the prophet Joel called God’s people to repentance he understood that this was more than a change of action.  Repentance is a change of the heart.  This isn’t something that God’s people can do on their own either.  In Rend Your Hearts we will look at a number of different passages from our God.

Due to the snow storm we will not offer our early Zoom Bible study. It’s the start of a New Year and everyone is look for some good advice.  What better place to look than the Bible?  God has inspired (literally breathed in his very words) the authors of this book with some awesome wisdom.  In this class we’ll look at a few common topics that come up and see what wisdom our God has for us!

This Advent and Christmas we’ll do a little American church history and see how the holiday has been celebrated since the days of the colonies.  We’ll walk through the centuries and see how the festival of Christmas has changed, not always for the better, not always for the worse.  Each lesson we’ll see what our God has to say about Christmas.

It is more basic to walk than run.  That’s how most of life works.  First we do simpler things and then jump into deeper more challenging activities.  Star of Bethlehem is going Back to the Basics.  During the Easter season we’ll be walking through some of the basic teachings of Christianity.  That doesn’t mean older Christians can’t benefit from the review!  For this round we’re looking at the Ten Commandments.  What glittering jewels of truth are hiding for us as we study?  Come and find out!
