Halloween is about as orange a holiday as you can find.  It’s that time of the year again!  Halloween is the day before All Saints Day.

Halloween and Potatoes might not go together as well as chocolate and peanut butter, but there is a connection.  In the 19th century the Irish Potato Famine displaced millions of people.  Many of those went to find a new home in the New Country of America. 

All Hallow’s Eve has morphed into Halloween! How did we get from hijacking a Celtic New Year Holiday to what we see annually as Halloween in America? We take a trip down memory lane and look at some of the traditions. We’ll also see what our God has to say about these topics.
