T3 – Talents is the second study in our annual stewardship focus. What makes you different or special? What gifts has God given you?
T3 – Time is the first in our fall stewardship program on what God has given us. Of all our gifts time might be the most valuable asset.
An offering is an important part of the Christian’s life. What is that exactly – an offering? How much is enough? Aren’t there confusing and contradicting messages from the pages of Scripture? And finally, isn’t money in the church the most uncomfortable topic anyone can think of?
How has God gifted you? If you’ve been a Christian your whole life, you probably have a good handle on your gifts, but maybe you would like a little insight. While not perfect, the spiritual gift analysis tool can be a great place to start if you’re not sure. Look at your top five gifts after taking the quiz and then see some of the matching areas of service.
“The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it…” The Psalmist doesn’t leave any room for confusion. EVERYTHING belongs to God. Why then do we have such a hard time with this concept? We’ll look at God’s idea of stewardship.
