By His Wounds We Are Healed – The Man Born Blind

By His Wounds We Are Healed – The Man Born Blind offers a couple questions you may have never considered.  Does it have to be someone’s fault if there is pain or heartache in the world?

My Son’s Knee

Who sinned that my son has a knee injury?  That was the question posed by my neighbor some twenty years ago.  He confessed to cheating on his wife.  And he was convinced that it was his sin that caused God to strike his son with knee problems.  The Bible tells us that God does not treat us as our sins deserve.  There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  As for the man born blind, Jesus tells us, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.

Night is Coming

Work while it is day for night comes when no one can work.  These words from our Lord don’t just point out the necessity of light for a laborer.  He’s talking about Gospel ministry.  I could not publicly worship my God and Savior Jesus in every part of the world.  In fact, there are many parts of the world where my life would be in real jeopardy if I shared the gospel.  We are so blessed in this incredible country to have the freedom to worship.  So let’s not take that freedom for granted.  Dear friends, let’s take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself.  Do you have a friend, neighbor, or coworker whom you’ve been putting off speaking to about Jesus?  Easter is right around the corner.  Why not pray for God’s blessing, and then invite them to our Easter breakfast HERE?
