How can we possibly keep God’s name holy? That’s a great question addressed in the 1st Petition of the Lord’s Prayer.
Summer Catechism: Address
The Lord’s Prayer is a model for us to follow and a frequent visitor to the prayer life of the Christian. This morning we examine the Address. It’s important in any conversation to you with whom you are speaking. In prayer we are talking to God Almighty.
Summer Catechism: Introduction to Prayer
This Sunday we began our Summer Bible class series on the Catechism. We’ll walk through some of the basic teachings of our faith. We’ll start with and introduction to prayer. One of the strengths of this Bible class is the discussion at the end. We’ll touch on all of these questions as we work through the Lord’s Prayer, but there were a couple great questions asked.
Acts – Communists
Were the first Christians really communists? We’ll look at this accusation and see what they were and what they were not. There are other important details that can help us see why we worship the way we do.

The high court condemned Jesus, and Peter and John’s evangelism didn’t make them look good. Peter and John are now on trial. The Church has interacted with kingdoms of this world since the beginning. This week we spent some time looking at how government treats the church.
Acts – The First Sermon
The first sermon of the New Testament Church was given on Pentecost Sunday. The Apostle Peter gave a message to God’s people that cut them to the heart.
