Start a New Way of Living! God Loves You!

Sunday Bible Class (Page 3)

God can see everything, including your sins. That's ok. You never need to wonder if he died for your sins.

Which church is our church? This can be more than a little confusing when we look at the religious landscape in America. There are dozens of denominations, and some who refuse a denomination. How can we know which church is the church that God wants us in? Watch and find out.

Jesus gives us his body and blood in, with, and under the bread and the wine for the forgiveness of sins. Jesus helps us with tough questions on this topic.

Lord’s Supper

The Lord’s Supper is a means of grace where God sends his Spirit to convince us of his love. We receive the forgiveness of sins through his body and blood in, with, and under the bread and the wine. Following worship today, we’ll study some of the details surrounding this gift of God’s grace.

Stewardship means that all that we have belongs to God.

Stewardship can be kind of a touchy subject, but not when we look at it in the clarity of God’s word. For starters stewardship is a very broad topic that covers everything from the management of the land to care of your personal finances to the open spots on your calendar. How does God want us to use our gifts that really belong to him? Watch and find out!

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us.

How do we know that God didn’t use billions of years to create the world? Each day in creation could have been a billion years, or… maybe the time between each day was a billion years, right? Wrong. The truth that God created the world in six twenty-four hour days is clearly taught in Scripture. We’ll look at how God created the heavens and the earth.

The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Christian Prayer

“Teach us how to pray!” was the plea from the disciples to Jesus. The prayer that Jesus gave bears his name – The Lord’s Prayer. That prayer is said at least weekly in Christian churches around the world, but the words of that prayer are not so much a what to pray, but a how to pray. This Sunday in our Bible study we’ll take a look at the Lord’s prayer, and prayer in general.

The Christian in the Church

The Christian church is made up of some of the worst sinners on the planet with checkered pasts and questionable futures, apart from Christ. How can God bring his people together to accomplish anything?! Watch our Bible study on the Christian in the Church.

The Christian in the Community

We live in a godless world that hates our Lord. So what’s the good news? God has placed us there to be his witnesses. There is much more to that. How can we interact and function in a society that is so counter to everything that the Christian stands for? Watch and find out!

Another Way

How can we get to heaven? An expert in the Law of Moses asked Jesus that question. Jesus’ answer may be surprising, but if we could be perfect in every way, we would reach eternal life. There are many problems with this idea. Jesus offered up the concept to start a discussion. We continue that discussion on God’s Law in our Bible class this morning. Is there really only one way to heaven? Come and find out!

Baptism saves you also!

By Grace Alone 7 – Baptism

Why do we baptize babies and not dedicate them?  Do we have to dunk or sprinkle?  Did Martin Luther really dunk infants?!  Baptism is a wonderfully simple gift from our God to create faith and wash sins away.  Why are there so many confusing questions surrounding it? Watch this week’s study on Baptism.
