The veiled gospel that the Apostle Paul was talking about isn’t difficult to find or understand. It is veiled by the god of this world – the devil. There are many different angles of attack for him. In our message this Sunday we looked at the causes of spiritual blindness and how God reveals the light of salvation.
Unseen Assets
We walk by faith and not by sight. The world around us screams messages of temptation, hate, and despair. Our God whispers peace, love, and joy. We celebrated the vision of faith shared by two young members of our congregation on this Confirmation Sunday.
Repent Now
Can you repent now? That’s a loaded question, isn’t it. It assumes that 1) you’re sinful. 2) That you want to repent in the first place.
Trustworthy God
Would you trust Crazy Bob’s Autos or Flow Honda with the purchase of your next car? If you needed a sitter for the kids would you ask the person next to you in the checkout line at Food Lion or a trusted friend or family member? This Sunday we’ll see that God gives you his word. That’s something you can always trust.
Thorns in the Flesh
Thorns are maybe what pricked you a couple days ago when trying to prep your roses for your girl. Thorns in life hurt. One of the questions that people often as is why? What is God thinking? We’ll consider the thorn in the Apostle Paul’s life this Sunday.
Greased Pig of Happiness
When JD Rockefeller was asked, “How much money is enough?” he answered, “Just a little bit more.” Are you never quite satisfied? This Sunday come and hear how God has provided for your every need and how he unlocks the key to your happiness.
