What exactly are you thankful for? Maybe God has taken something away from you this year. Can you still be thankful for that? YES! The Apostle Paul shows us the secret to being content in the letter to the Philippians.
More or Less
We have so much to be thankful for this year. What if God has blessed us with LESS and not more this year? Should we still be thankful? The answer is yes in Jesus. Join us to find out how we can be thankful even when God gives us less.
This Sunday we begin our 2018 Stewardship Program: Joyfully Generous. The focus this Sunday will be on God’s grace to us. The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. He has given us all that we have. This basic truth is a key to contentment. Join us for worship this Sunday at 10 AM.
Back to School
It’s Back to School Sunday and we are talking about wisdom. The days are evil – anyone watching the news can see that. What can we do with our time? Teaching our children is a great idea. Teaching ourselves is good too. God has some great advice for us as we touch on education.
Thankful for Mercy
Give thanks to the Lord for he is good! What do you have? Have you counted your blessings lately? One of the reasons it is important to take time and give thanks is to be reminded that everything we have comes from our gracious God.
It’s not an easy lesson to say thanks, is it? We are Thankful Stewards of the King, so it will be helpful to look at the ten lepers from Luke 17 and see what we can learn. We are clean and forgiven before our God.
