Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna! With shouts of joy the city of Jerusalem embraced their king as he entered the city in peace. How quickly that changed… Join us as we enter Holy Week with the cerebration of Palm Sunday.
What does a great victory look like? Maybe you can think of a few in the history of the world. Our God knows a thing or two about great victories. The difference is that they may not always look like great victories to our eyes. This Sunday we saw our God never get tired of winning. We win the victory with him.
How hard to you look for something when it is lost? Is there a point where you give up? What if it’s not an item, but a person whom you love? What would you do to have that loved one back? Would you ever give up? These are the questions that our God explores this Sunday. How great is his love for the lost!
Persecution, intimidation, and threats can be part of the Christian walk. In our Gospel lesson we’ll see how Jesus faced these during his ministry as did a missionary to Ireland named Patrick. Watch this Sunday as we look at how our God would have us respond.
If you were hungry – I mean, really hungry – and you could turn stones into bread, would you? Would there be any harm? A guy has to eat! There was more to the temptations of our Lord that first meets the eye. Join us as we consider what our Lord went through so that we might be saved.
