There are plenty of scary events that come into our lives. Mary the mother of Jesus knows the feeling too. Not only was she terrified at the sight of an angel, the news the angel gave her would change her life forever. This Advent season God doesn’t want us quaking in our boots. He comes as the prince of peace for our lives. Want to find that peace? Watch!
Did you see this guy? He looks crazy! But he makes alot of sense. This Sunday we begin our new sermon series Christmas on Location in an unlikely place – down by the river. Come and check out the fiery preaching and see where the road to the Christmas manger begins.
The Christmas card that God paints for us in Revelation 12 is a little different than what we’re used to, but it’s worth a look. We see a woman, a dragon, and a child. We’ll see the dangers of our Old Evil Foe, and God’s plan to rescue us and his son from his clutches. Christmas was a daring move by our God to save the world that was lost in sin. That story – that picture – in God’s Christmas card is one you have to see and hear!
When we cry, “Save me!” Our God won’t disappoint. Especially not at Christmas. Watch the third sermonette from our Advent Service.
Unbelief might be a theme you wouldn’t think about at Advent. These weeks before Christmas are a time when people seem to have all kinds of reasons to get “in the spirit”. With so much activity it can be difficult to find God or Jesus anywhere in the Christmas season. Watch our second Advent sermonette and see how God comes even to those who don’t believe in him.
