Jesus may fall into the category of a look alike simply because he does so many things well. Never sell Jesus short on the one and only thing he can do – save us from our sins.
Bad Day
There is an exhaustion that cannot be cured with sleep. Rest for the soul is an elusive concept. Pleasure, money, or fame cannot energize the soul that is dragged down by guilt. There is only one cure for the weary soul. Jesus is the bread of life. That has always been the case. In our message this morning we will see the prophet Elijah – who should’ve been riding high – hit rock bottom.
