The storm is raging all around and where is Jesus? Asleep!? How can he sleep at a time like this! The disciples were at their wits end. Do you ever wonder if Jesus waits for us to exhaust all other options until we have nowhere else to turn?
Unseen Assets
We walk by faith and not by sight. The world around us screams messages of temptation, hate, and despair. Our God whispers peace, love, and joy. We celebrated the vision of faith shared by two young members of our congregation on this Confirmation Sunday.
Good for the Soul
Is confession really good for the soul? You’ve probably heard that thought a few different times in your life. This Sunday we looked into the minds of the first two sinners and saw how gracious our God is – right from the start!

Can we eat shrimp? What about lobster? There are many laws in the Old Testament that Christians don’t follow. Why is that? The most obvious one is the Sabbath Day. We’ll see that Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath.

No Fear of Jesus Leaving

No Fear for Mom
Today we celebrate moms! God accomplishes so many blessings through our mothers. In our message we will go back in time to an ancient church that faced a death. When Jesus rose from the dead he didn’t stop all death; he took away the sting. Today we’ll look at what it means that death has lost it’s sting. We have No Fear of Death.
No Fear of Outreach
Our God is the Vine; we are the branches. To remain fruitful in life we need to stay connected to him. A large part of that is connecting others to the Vine as well. This week we take a trip to Philippi, a Roman colony in the ancient world to see the Apostle Paul in action.
No Fear of the Good Shepherd
I know my sheep and my sheep know me.” Jesus is our Good Shepherd and we find protection and provision under his care. Because of Easter, there is No Fear under the Good Shepherd.
No Fear in Freedom
Does that sound like freedom to you? Doing what you want when you want to do when you want to do it? While that may sound good – living just for yourself is an empty life. True freedom is doing what God wants me to do. Because of Easter, there is No Fear in Freedom.

What does it mean to have no fear in doubt? We’ll look at a few case studies this Sunday – Doubting Thomas Sunday – to see how people have handled doubts in the past. The resurrection chases our doubts away! No fear!
No Fear in Death
Easter means no fear! What are a few your biggest fears? As get to the top of the list, death is usually one of the items. Death of a loved one, your own death… Easter changes everything, yes, even taking away the fear of death. Join us as we celebrate the resurrection.
Greater Than All
“Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” With cries and shouts, for more than a thousand years, the church has celebrated the triumphal entrance of Jesus into his city, Jerusalem. Jesus isn’t just the King of the Jews, he is the King of the Universe.
Our Great High Priest
The temptation for the first Christians was to throw it all away. Why not go back to the old way of doing things? Judaism had worked for thousands of years! Jesus is our Great High Priest. He completed the Jewish faith and won forgiveness for the world.
Length of God’s Love
What is the length of God’s love? I suppose that’s the positive way to speak of God’s patience. Have you ever heard the question, “Are we there yet?”
Zeal for Worship
God is serious about his word. How serious? Jesus didn’t come to make friends of those who looked only from personal gain from God’s people. He came to save the world. He came to save you.
Gain the Whole World
If you could gain the whole world, would you give up your soul? That’s a pretty easy question to answer for the veteran Christian. There is nothing more important than our soul. Where we spend eternity is far more important than anything else in life.
Temptation and Sacrifice
Temptation comes in all shapes and sizes and yours might be different than mine. Satan knows where we are the weakest and won’t hesitate to float a temptation right in front of our noses.
Repent Now
Can you repent now? That’s a loaded question, isn’t it. It assumes that 1) you’re sinful. 2) That you want to repent in the first place.
